The Team
We are all general dentists active in our continuing education as well as local, state and national dental associations. We often share in the treatment of our patients but are happy to accommodate your wish to be seen by any one of us exclusively. Our dental assistants, hygienists and administrators are some of the most respected dental professionals in their careers. With a tremendous amount of experience, in some cases many years with Bainbridge Dental, we are proud of their work and their commitment to our patients and our community.
Dr. Sesha Hanson-Drury
"I grew up in Richland, Washington and attended Western Washington University where I graduated with honors in Biological Anthropology and Chemistry. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, a global leader at the forefront of regenerative and advanced dentistry, and have been honored with multiple awards for leadership, community service, research and clinical skills.
I completed my Ph.D. in Regenerative Dentistry at the UW’s Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine with the goal of developing methods to grow teeth back. Due to research like mine, replacing missing tooth structure naturally rather than with implants or fillings is on the cusp of reality.
When not in the clinic, you can find me gardening, playing guitar, hiking, and spending time with my husband.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Kitsap County Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Research, and International Society for Stem Cell Research."
Dr. Tina Jiang
"I am a PNW native and a double Husky. I graduated with a bachelors in Biology magna cum laude from the University of Washington, and continued on to earn a doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
After practicing at a community health clinic for two years, I decided to further my clinical knowledge and skills at the General Practice Residency at University of Nevada Las Vegas. During my residency, I gained experience in managing medically complex patients at a level 1 trauma center. I learned advanced techniques for rehabilitating missing teeth, implant placement, wisdom tooth removal, and conscious IV sedation.
I am excited to return to the PNW to practice in the community I call home. I strive to provide a patient focused experience, addressing each patient’s needs as a unique individual. While not in the clinic, you can find me backpacking, mushroom foraging, or trying new recipes with my husband.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and Kitsap County Dental Association."
Dr. Nicholas Thompson
"I graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997. I completed a postdoctoral residency in general dentistry in 1998 and began practice on Bainbridge Island later that year. My wife and our three kids love the Island. And when I’m not taking care of my patients, you’ll find me in the garden, lifting weights, restoring old cars and making a little wine.”
